Hi parents, for those of us who did not have a chance to go to the Free Top Physical event. I am attaching a copy of the AIA Physical History form that you can bring to your medical provider. Please join us on Saturday May 19th from 4-7 pm. Parents UKnight will be providing BBQ sandwiches, chips, water and sports drinks. Fun activities are planned including swimming so please bring suites and towels. All players and families are encouraged to attend. Please reply by email to parentsuknight@yahoo.com with the number that will be attending so we can plan on the correct amount of food and drink. Location will be at the Crosby home in Greenfield Acres @ Riggs and Chandler Heights 2677 E. Haymore Court, Gilbert AZ 85298. For directions please contact Erica 480-201-9320.

Monday, May 7, 2012 football will be starting our email fundraiser through eTeamSponsor.

This is only for the players currently going to HHS and participating in the upcoming season. Incoming freshmen football players will do this same fundraiser in June. Please see below for the Facts and Instructions files for details.

FOR ALL CURRENT JUNIOR-SOPHMORE-FRESHMAN-INCOMING FRESHMAN STUDENT/ATHLETES(Changed from only incoming Freshman)

The Parent and Student Athletes (all sports) Information Night for the summer of 2012 and the 2012-2013 school year is Monday, May 7th. There will be an open house in the lobby of the HCPA at 5:30 p.m. and then a presentation by the athletic director at 6:00 p.m. Come out to learn about all of our summer camps and clinics, as well as the clearance process and expectations for our athletes. Athletic Director Burks and Coach Zubey will be there to answer your questions.

And remember, our first general meeting for Parents UKnight Football Boosters is Tuesday, May 8, 2012 at 7:00 pm in the HHS Library. Your input, vote and volunteerism is needed!

Free Custom Mouthguards for HHS Football Players

Desert Springs Dental is excited to be doing the mouth guards for the Higley High School football players. We will need to have each player come into the office so we can take an impression to make a custom fit sports mouth guard. Attached to this post is a medical history that each player will need to fill out, also attached is a release form that a parent can sign if they are unable to personally bring their son into the office. We will need about 5-10 minutes per player.

Monday-Thursday 3:00-4:30 p.m.

If these times do not work, please call the dental office directly to set something up.

2012 Free Sports Physicals

Gilbert Hospital will once again be offering FREE Sports Physicals for high school athletes. The date is Saturday, April 28th and the location is Williams Field High School, see flyer for details. Stay tuned as to the time Higley High will be assigned for physicals. Parents will complete the TOPS Form and bring it the day of the physical. Also, make sure you get a copy of the TOPS Form and the physical evaluation forms. They will need to be included in your Athletic Packet. Please contact your coach or Athletic Secretary Gloria Zamucen if you are interested.

Season Ending Banquets

The Freshman Banquet will be Saturday, November 19th from 3-6pm. It will be held at the clubhouse in Power Ranch at 3685 S. Ranch House Pkwy.

The JV Banquet will be held at the Crosby Home on Thursday, November 3rd from 6-8pm.

The Varsity Banquet will be held on Monday, November 28th from 7-9pm at Hotel Legado. Invitations were given to players this week. RSVP’s must be received by November 15th.
